If a patent (certificate issued by the patent office upon grant of a patent) is lost or destroyed or damaged; upon the satisfaction of the Controller and upon the application made by the applicant with the payment of the prescribed fees, the Controller may provide a duplicate to be sealed and delivered to the applicant.
