Rule 19 – International Applications filed with corresponding office as Receiving Office

An International Application filed shall be done with three copies in the appropriate office written either in English or Hindi language.

In addition to the fees specified in the regulations under the Treatyfee for international application shall also be paid.

When three copies are not filed for an international application, the appropriate office shall prepare the same upon payment of the respective fees.

Upon request and duly payment of the fees from the applicant, the appropriate office shall prepare a certified copy of the priority document and promptly transmit the same to the International Bureau and the  same shall be intimated to the applicant and the Patent Office, Delhi branch.
