Form 29 has to be filed by the Applicant or the legal representative, if he is willing to withdraw the patent application at anytime before the patent is granted.
If such patent application is withdrawn before the first examination report is issued by the patent office and the corresponding fee for the same (examination or expedited examination) was already paid; 90% of the fee so paid shall be refunded.
